SweetMercies is excited to host IF:Gathering 2021 on March 26 & 27. Our desire for this weekend is that the women in our church would get to experience powerful Biblical teaching and Spirit-filled worship, engage in deep conversations, and be encouraged to surrender their lives in greater obedience to God.

God is on the move, and our God cannot be stopped, even when the world around us looks like it’s falling apart. The theme of these two days is 

“Even If”: Even if the worst happens, we don’t lose hope. 

We invite you to come as you are:  Weary… discouraged… lonely… empty… seeking… suffering… ashamed… afraid… sick… or maybe free… hopeful… expectant. Come join us as we turn our gaze to the God of hope and remember the truths of his word together!

We’ll be hosting in person as well as online, so whatever your comfort level, we have a place reserved for you! 

Those participating in person will have opportunities for conversation during our breaks and our catered box lunch on Saturday, as well as before and after the event.

For those joining us virtually, we’ll have a dedicated online host to facilitate our online chat, so you’ll get to experience a sense of community even though you are watching from home.

The cost for our local IF:Gathering is $15 in person, $10 online.

This includes:

*2 day livestream conference

*live worship

*snacks/drinks throughout the event

SO WHAT EXACTLY IS IF:GATHERING?

Before there was ever an IF:Gathering event or resource created, there was one phrase God continually laid on IF:Gathering’s founder and visionary, Jennie Allen’s, heart — which is still at the core of what they are about today: Disciple a Generation.

Every gathering and tool that has been built since is created with that purpose in mind — equipping women and serving the local church with opportunities and resources to go and make disciples.

The first IF:Gathering took place in 2014 and was inspired by the question, “If God is real…then what?” At that event, women were reminded that because God IS indeed who He says He is, we in turn have a job to do on Earth: tell others about Him.

WHAT IS IF:LOCAL?

It’s a gathering of women to watch the livestream or videos of an IF:Gathering event. In 2020 there were 3,235 IF:Local events in more than 24 countries. As of February 25, 2021, there are more than 5,000 IF:Locals in all 50 states and 49 countries.

WHY GATHER?

Gathering is special. It’s set apart. But it’s not the end in itself. We gather because we believe that it is the spark for life-on life-discipleship to happen all year.

WHO IS IT FOR?

We gather women, ages 14+, across denominations, generations, and cultures for God’s glory and for the good of others. This isn’t about making the name of IF:Gathering great. We want to see the name of Jesus Christ lifted high in our day.

WHAT IS THE SCRIPTURE WE’LL BE STUDYING?

Throughout the event, we are going to be looking at various Scriptures to see who God is when it seems like the world is falling apart.

One of the hallmarks of IF:Gathering is the element of surprise. Though they don’t reveal a list of speakers and times ahead of time, these are some of the people who’ll be joining us in some capacity this year at IF:2021:
