On Sunday we looked at Jesus’ ride on a donkey as he entered the city on the first day of the last week of his earthly life. In this we see Jesus’ humility and how his life fulfilled Old Testament prophecy. We also see that, like medical workers running toward danger, our God is the first responder who moved toward us to rescue us in our trouble.
