On Sunday we returned to our study in the book of Romans. Paul opens by asking, “What then shall we say to these things?” He answers this question by offering six more questions to summarize the implications of the Gospel message. Through these questions we find hope outside ourselves, we are reminded of our location and identity in Christ, and we see how the dangers of this life become our servants.
Read Romans 8:31-39
Which of Paul’s questions resonated most strongly with you?
When was a time that God reminded you of the love of Christ in the midst of tribulation or distress?
What danger or threat presents the greatest challenge to your faith right now?
How do you remind yourself of what God has done in your fearful moments?
Pray for each other to be strengthened in what God has done in Christ.
